to be somewhere else earlier), and I actually went online to pick up final
votes well after that, close to 3:30.

The timestamp says that the message carrying your vote arrived in my
mailbox at 3:42.

Just for the record - I do believe that Nancy posted just in time. Unless my
time calculations are wrong (us Dutch people are not as accustomed to time
zone juggling as you Americans are). To the best of my knowledge:
* Dutch time is curently (daylight savings time) at GMT+2
* EDT is at GMT-4
* So my time is equal to your time + 6 hours.

Nancy's message at the tapcis.com Forum is timestamped 08:40 PM (that would
be 02:40 PM EDT). The logs in the Cory group show that a copy of Nancy's
message was received and parked in the moderation queue at 9:35 PM (3:35 PM
EDT), almost an hour after being posted to tapcis.com. I happened to be
online, so I approved Nancy's message at 9:41 PM (3:41 PM EDT). The logs in
the Cory group don't show when it was echoed to the members that subscribe
by individual emails, but since you received it at 3:42 PM EDT, that must
have been neer instantaneous.
