In an earlier message you expressed dismay that, after spending hours to
craft your new Yahoo! identity just right, your old compuserve.com address
was again attached to that identity. You didn't want that, because you plan
to give up the compuserve.com address.

One of the moderators (Dan? Hugo?) replied don't worry, I will remove the
compuserve.com address from your profile. Remember???

Could it be that, at the moment, you are still trying to receive the list
via that compuserve.com address? If it's not in your profile anymore then
you would indeed not get the list at that address.

FWIW, the most recent message you sent to the list (not counting the ones
via tapcis.com's vBulletin, going by the headers) was sent from your
compuserve.com address (late Saturday night). If you send messages from your
compuserve.com addresses, that would explain why moderators added that
address to your new profile. If they didn't, they would have to vet each
message by hand, with possibly long delays before it shows on the list.

Marijke, this is all straightened out now. I always had my CompuServe Email address in the Coryphaeus group, right from the time I signed up. And I had been sending messages to the group with that address with no trouble even after the process to have messages appear in both tapcis.com and in the cory group.

The group apparently allows you to include three Email addresses, and as far as I can tell, the first one cannot be edited or removed by the member. I assumed that's the one that would have been designated as the "signed up with" address, but I don't really know for sure. And it was a Yahoo address, not my CompuServe address.

Now when I signed up in tapcis.com, I did use my CompuServe address. So although that seemed to be working from the beginning, maybe at some point the fact that there I started with a different address from the one in the Cory group caused Dan to have to set up something with the CompuServe address in the Cory group. Anyway, I am through trying to figure it out. I am through trying to figure out what Email address is here in tapcis.com too. I have tried to change it twice and I don't think the change sticks, but I could be wrong.

I'm sure I could check and/or change it if that would be helpful.

Bless you! I would appreciate knowing whether my attempt to change the
Email address actually worked. When I look at the profile, my desired
new Email address is in both of the fields there. This makes me think
the change didn't work, but it could simply be that the current Email
address is always there. I don't know how it looked originally - whether
those fields were blank or whether my old Email address was there. My
original Email address was my CompuServe one; what should be there is my
tapcis.com email address.

Guerri

I'm sending this directly to your Email so as to cut back on messages
that aren't really

Direct to email didn't work. Also, your message looks truncated.

Marijke, I can't find any message in my Sent folder or any of my other
folders, in fact, that looks like what you quoted. In the message you
cited, did I mention the name of the individual to whom I was speaking?

All I can think is that I intended to edit the message and replace the
To address with the person's Email. I have no idea what happened.
