Dan, "Xancus" isn't any conch and never even considered for same; it was
proposed for a turret shell. I've just looked up the list of genera in the
Strombidae (conchs), and there isn't even any term similar (to "Xancus" OR
"Xanthus").
And yes, Yahoo is apparently, just within the past 24, doing something very
peculiar.
