True, but this wasn't a mere etymology; it was the full def. I'd have
rather figured a real def to be "the generic name for..." or perhaps the
one given but somewhat fuller (e.g., "the type genus of the ant family [or
evergreen family, or whatever it is; I haven't looked it up] Xancidae").
