Thanks, Hugo. Wow, am I confused. It's now Sunday morning at 9:20 AM
and I think I'm now too late for this round. As you know I did send
the message to coryphaeus because I could not find Dodi's email address.

About bypassing the moderation queue, I've never heard of it but I
assume it's a place where messages go before they are sent to the group
and that you have now eliminated it for me.

How does one find out where to send the email if it is not included?

Hi Frances,

Yes, I know. I had seen your question about where to send your def, and I
was preparing my answer when I saw your definition appear in the moderation
queue.

Yes, that is correct. The Yahoo group Coryphaeus is set to put messages from
non-members in the moderation queue (where they will be reviewed by one of
the moderators before being accepted or rejected), and to accept messages
from members without inspection by a moderator. Should spammers decide to
target the Cory group (I've seen it happen in other Yahoo Groups), then only
the moderators will notice it, as these mais will be rejected and never make
it to the list.

That's quite a tough one, actually. (Which is exactly the reason I recommend
all future dealers to include their e-mail address in the body of their
message).

You could go to the Tapcis Web Forum at www.tapcis.com, find a message by
the dealer, click his or her name, then select "Send email to ..." from the
dropdown list. Unfortunately, this will only work with messages that
originate from the Tapcis Web Forum. You won't get Dodi's address that way.

You could also go to the web site of the Coryphaeus Yahoo Group
(http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/coryphaeus/), go to the messages
section and find a message writen by the dealer. You'll never get to see a
full e-mail address (they are deliberately truncated on display), but you
can click the envelope or the "Send Email" link to be able to type a reply
in a window, that will be sent to the untruncated e-mail address. I'm not
sure if your mail will go to the e-mail used to register the Yahoo ID, or
the e-mail that the message was sent from. If the former, and if a throwaway
account was used to register the Yahoo ID, then your message will end up in
Neverneverland.

I'm sure you would have preferred an easier way, but there is none. As long
as the dealer doesn't include his/her e-mail address in the new word
message, this is as good as it gets.

Best, Hugo
