Below, 20 purported definitions for TRAGOPAN. Yes, truly, a real, actual
definition from a dictionary is among them.

Pick the TWO you think stand the best chance of being that one. Post your
choices publicly, by direct reply to this message. As usual, you can jump
in and go for real-def points even if you didn't submit a def of your own.

Please register your votes no later than--I was going to say 1 p.m., but I
just realized that I'll be out then, so I'll add a couple of extra hours:
Make that 3 p.m. EDT on Monday 6 June.

I haven't submitted a def for this round, as my Internet access has been very flaky at my daughter's house. I'm really posting to see how this message appears. I would have been DQ on TRAGOPAN anyway.

Hi Dodi,

My votes are for #6 and #8 - the sweetmeats and the placebo.

I vote for 9 and 14.

I'm viewing this on TAPCIS.COM because for some reason the Cory messages were not delivered to my mailbox today.

Anyway, Dodi, I think part of the confusion today is that there were at least two messages from you, shown here in TAPCIS.COM's Parlor, that appeared to be separate threads. This is, I think, a manifestation of the threading failure under some conditions.

Reading this list of defs is giving me a headache, so I'll vote for
brain surgery: 7 and 19

Yours truly, best regards, take good care and see you later,

Hi Guerri,

>I'm viewing this on TAPCIS.COM because for some reason the Cory
>messages were not delivered to my mailbox today.

The reason is that your email delivery option on the Yahoo Group is set to
"No Email". Here's a link to one of the places where you can change this
setting: http://groups.yahoo.com/mygroups?o=2&edit=1. Let me know if this
doesn't work for you - moderators have the ability to change this setting
for members, but I'll never do that without explicit request.

Best, Hugo

Hugo, I don't know why my option was suddenly set to no Email. I didn't think I did that, but I *was* trying to synchronize between TAPCIS.COM and Cory. Anyway, it's working now - I went in this morning and set it back to send Email again.
