Dear Broken,

I like a man who admits that he's disintegrating. A definite step in the
right direction.

Pleased in Paducah

One more salute!

Was that because you felt I deserved two, or because in your old age you
forgot you already saluted?

I've heard a number of stories similar to yours -- one from a fellow member of the former Working From Home forum. I guess "cyberspace" holds a very special place in your heart, huh? <G>

A good friend, a Scottish physician, living in Stirling, Scotland, met a
California girl on-line. They've been married for more than 20 years. Good
old Compuserve!

That was because you deserved another congratulatory salute for your
marriage. You know I was married for 62 years. . . and I believe in the
institution.

It definitely makes being deployed to Iraq easier for us. We're in constant
email communication (although 11 time zones apart!). It's "just like old
times."

Ironically, we've concluded we communicate with each other more now than
when we're together. A focused hour of communication when forced to
communicate beats sitting together on the couch watching TV.

When sitting on the couch watching television YOU CAN HOLD HANDS. For us
that was one of the most comforting things we had. A little squeeze from
your mate's hand is wonderful.

I'll remember that in 11 months when I can put it into practice. :)
