I'll just quote a small amount of your message, but this is what it looks like on my computer:

<< 5-Round 4-Rnd Round Round Round Round Round
<< Player TOTAL 1610 1611 1612 1613 1614
<< ------------------- ------- ------- ------- ------- ------- -------
<< Savage, T............... 19 17 2* 4 6* 7 D 3
<< Schultz, D.............. 18 14 4 4* 2 2 6
<< Abell, T................ 15 12 3* 6* 3 0 3
<< Madnick, J.............. 13 13 0 1 2 7 3*
<< Heimerson, R............ 13 10 3* 6 D 4 4 0

Are the rolling scores posted as a text message . . . or what? It's a little better on the Yahoo! Groups website, although the headings don't line up with the data. It seems as though "text" would be the best option . . . but perhaps I'm wrong on that.

Judy

I don't think that you posting that chunk didn't work quite as you intended - while Mike's original posting arrived all unaligned
and etc , your chunk arrived beautifully formatted..

I suspect that the issue is how it was posted,.... I suspect you posted in a fixed font while Mike posted in a proprotional font

Hi Judy,

(snip)

This is strange! It's almost the exact opposite for me.

The e-mail copy of the message showed up just fine. Only the column headings
were misplaced (at appears as if leading spaces were lost). The message was
automatically displayed in a non-proportional font, even though I normally
use a proportional font for incoming mail.

The copy of the rolling scores on the Yahoo Group doesn't look quite so
good. All extra spaces to line out the columns have been removed (so "3
<space> <space> <space> 5" becomes "3 <space> 5", etc.) And the leading
spaces before the column headings are missing here as well.

On the tapcis.com site, the rolling scores look great. They are in a
scrollable subwindow inside the message. The only downside is that the
accompanying text is placed inside this subwindow, as one long line - I
guess the result of a misplaced tag.

Since our experience at the email copy and the Yahoo groups site are so
vastly different, I'd be interested to know what email client and what
browser you are using. I am using Outlook Express 6 for email and MS
Internet Explorer 6 for browsing.
