[Dixonary] Use of "OT" in subject

Uh, THIS operation--and we Yahoo listers are sharing all of these messages,
remember, with the "Parlor" ["Dixonary?"] forum at tapcis.com--is supposed
NOT to be off-topic, ever, right?

Here at Yahoo, another topic would go to tffkat (AT) yahoogroups (DOT) com; at
tapcis.com, I think it would go to a different forum.

Right. But it simply doesn't seem to happen that way. For example, Tim Lodge announced the birth of a new grandchild as part of a Dixonary-related posting. Traditionally, we simply responded to his post with our congratulations. To go to a different venue ( tffkat (AT) yahoogroups (DOT) com or someplace on tapcis.com) would interrupt the flow . . . and possibly provide a very different audience.

I'm not proposing that we start a new thread that's totally unrelated to what has come before. But if it interrupts the thread by starting a new one with "OT," then I won't use "OT." It was just a thought . . .
