Hi all --

I believe I've been robbed! Larry Halman also voted for my definition for
tautog (#17), along with Dan Widdis, giving me a measly 2 instead of a
paltry 1. Please don't deprive me!

From what I received Larry voted #11 and #17 - what he is recorded in results as is voting for #4 and #14 - I think that gives both
you and Scott Crom 1 more each

You're right, and I'm sorry. Larry's vote was recorded completely wrongly; it was for 11 and
17, not 4 and 14 as shown. This actually changes the "winner", which should have been Paul;
Toni should have been the "real winner".

I don't know how this happened. I must have been me; I've checked, and I can't find any way to
blame Dixomat!

The corrected scores are below; only those affected are shown.

Tim B

4: a large lizard of New Guinea.
Voted for by: Rosemary Allen, Wayne Scott, Paul Keating, Guerri Stevens, Dodi Schultz, Russ
Heimerson, Roberta Muths
FROM Toni Savage who voted 1 and 5, and scores 7 + 0 = 7

8: physically or morally hardened; unfeeling; stubborn.
Voted for by: Bill Hirst, Chris Carson
FROM Larry Halman who voted 11 and 17, and scores 2 + 0 = 2

11: a pidgin language used for trading in some regions of the South Pacific.
Voted for by: Dave Cunningham, Larry Halman, Guerri Stevens
FROM Scott Crom who voted 9 and 15, and scores 3 + 0 = 3

14: a fish, Tautoga onitis, found off the Atlantic coast of N. America, used as food.
Voted for by: Mike Shefler, Judy Madnick, Wayne Scott, Paul Keating, Russ Heimerson, Roberta
Muths
FROM Concise Oxford Dictionary which can't vote, and scores D6

17: the Inca practice of "sky-burial," exposing the dead to the elements in a high place; also
ta'u'tog.
Voted for by: Dan Widdis, Larry Halman
FROM Nancy Shepherdson who voted 9 and 16, and scores 2 + 0 = 2
