(and everyone)

I would suggest that the address is a MINOR thing compared to the SUBJECT matter! I think we all have to be very careful not to
post in the wrong threads, or give messages misleading subjects in any way.
Everyone was very good about that this round, but let's not get lazy.
<<

That to me is absolutely correct... With all the stuff flying around (1289Kb of used disk space in Dixionary folder which garners
anything sent from coryphaeus)
I separated out 'subject contains 'YARFA'' to give me a more manageable game set, but it wasn't easy to sort out as people kept
changing the subject-line -- 17 different subjects for about 40 postings! part of that may be different mail programs but ....I
plead that we eliminate individual choice here....

Please can we agree not to change subject lines while playing the game - we never used to in TAP-Parlour - for it would make life so
much easier if only the dealer changed 'new word' 'reminder' 'defs up' 'result' and we then might end up with a 're: defs up'
addition [and the dealer would see a 're: new word'] as well

Thanks for listening

Toni,

thanks for doing a difficult round with the sky falling in around us.

That's a bad idea! It breaks the threading for everybody who sees the
messages on the list in software that shows them in threaded form.

- Virtual Access reputedly can do so, offline.

- if you go online at the list's web site you can also see them in a kind of
threaded form.

- i think the mirrorred messages at tapcis.com may also be threaded.

I think it's best to look at subject and just read the subjects you're
involved in, if you don't have time to read everything.

Also, at the list's web site, messages are shown with the first few words of
the body, so a habit of starting messages to X with X or Hi X in the *body*
helps there.
