It's all very interesting. I also discovered another salmon word: a
GRILSE (dealt by Dodi in Round 999) is an Atlantic salmon that returns
from the sea after only one winter instead of the usual 3 or so.

My only contact with Pacific North West salmon was seeing the amazing
sight of dozens of them leaping up a salmon ladder in deepest suburban
North Vancouver!
