That sounds about right - I don't see the real one there at all - or maybe I'm a little slow in understanding (#7 ) - definately as
lost as a sheep (#3) -- I like the designer dog (#16) and the spoon plucked guitar (#17) but ... I have no real idea so... random
toss coin time

#3 (lost sheep) and #14 (danish tax on scotland) please

Hi folks--

I'm curious about this game dixonary you are always playing. Are the rules publicly available somewhere? I tried the link you gave and requires a membership....

Thanks, and happy new year all!

The rules are in a sticky message at the beginning of this section (The Parlor). If, after reading the rules, you think you might want to play, I recommend reading Paul Keating's PDF file of how the game is actually played in order to understand all the nuances that apply today (the game has been going continuously for 15 years, after all). That file is in the Coryphaeus Yahoo group file area (which, as you noticed, requires membership) or I could email it to you.

I like 3 and...

Well, just 3. But I'll throw a vote at 2, as I watch the ball drop in NYC.

I'll take 13 because it's almost believable, and 16 because it's corny
enough to be the real def.
