I kinda' saw this coming . . . and I'm not sure what to do about dealing. Mom chose to stop all her meds but morphine on Monday, but because she woke up Tuesday and Wednesday, she decided Thursday to go back on her meds. (I guess she thought she would die within 24 hours). But by Friday she became extremely disoriented, and by 10 a.m. yesterday she fell asleep . . . as of 7:30 a.m. this morning, she was, for all practical purposes, still sleeping (or at a lower level of consciousness). We think she may have had a slight stroke, as she had difficulty using her right hand yesterday morning (before she fell asleep), although she has equal strength in both hands, her smile is "straight," etc. She is having difficulty communicating (typical of right-side stroke issues).

The last time I dealt, it turned out that there was an error and I wasn't supposed to be the dealer. So . . . would it be possible in return to ask the runner-up to deal? Submitting a fake definition and voting don't seem as overwhelming to me right now as dealing a round.

Please let me know asap so I know what to do.

Thanks!

HELP, HELP, HELP!
Can either Chris Carson or Mike Shefler step in and take over for Judy. It sounds as though she has too much on her mind to have to deal.

Please, please!

Judy, somehow we'll get this fixed without your having to deal.
It's my great hope that as a wonderful Christmas present for you and your Mom (and all of us as well) that she will get over this tiny stroke. As you say, it sounds like a right side of the brain event, and a rather minor one.
Best wishes to your whole family!

I probably owe half the players in this game at least one deal, so if nobody
else posts by the 24-hour deadline, which is

00h39 PST, 03h39 EST, 08h39 GMT, 09h39 CET, other (please specify) on

26 December, Boxing Day, St Stephen's Day, Tweede Kerstdag, other (please
specify)

then I will.

And Merry Christmas to all.
