Marijke asks,
>> What shall we do to make recent versions available as they are
>> produced?
Scott updates the files WORDSABC.DIX (words in alpha order) and
WORDS123.DIX (words in chrono order) every ten rounds. (I think he assumes
that our memories are still working well enough for a word to sound
familiar if it was used only nine or fewer rounds ago.)
He used to send these to the TAPCIS forum library. Couldn't he just e-mail
them, simultaneously, to a mailing list of all current players, each time
he does an update? Couldn't you, Scott? (Yes, I have a list of e-mail
addresses of current players, TTBOMK; anyone who wants it can have a copy;
just ask.)
What I do is keep them in my TAP directory and call one to the TAP editing
screen when I need to have a look.

AFAIK, Scott is the only one who has been producing the lists. You're
right: If he is willing to continue doing so, there's no need for anyone
else to duplicate the effort.
