I can understand that. "Christian name" was intermittently used here in the
past, as well, but a *long* time ago; certainly for the past 75-100 years
here, the common term has been "first name". I wouldn't characterize the
change as "PC".

Hm. Catalogue from a US-based firm?
I subscribe to a UK-based logic puzzle magazine. Such puzzles (as you know
if you're familiar with the genre) not infrequently want you to match up
first and last names--always referred to as forenames and surnames.
