Hi all,

Here are the results of round 1661.

We have a very clear winner. Chris Carson attracted the most votes of all, an impressive 7, with his blistered appearance; he also managed to top it off with another 2 points for guessing the correct definition.

There were 2 players in coveted second place with 6 points each: Russ Heimerson and Daniel Widdis.

The true definition was 18: "A population of organisms similar to but more stable than a strain and maintained in viable condition for a particular purpose." (The American HeritageŽ Stedman's Medical Dictionary). Tony Abell and John Barrs joined Chris Carson in guessing this, leaving me with a D3.

Have fun with your deal, Chris!

Best, Hugo
