Geez... that article makes you want to hide (with the computer) under the bed...

Geez

This is perhaps not a politically correct expression. "under God", "in God we trust", seem to be on the way out now. Maybe somebody will find "e pluribus unum" in the writings of some medieval saint and so disqualify it too? However I suppose that one might be forgiven for uttering a non-PC expression while cowering in fear under the bed with the computer. Since it's unlikely that the news media would be listening.

Speaking of PC, I just happened to wonder what abbreviation one might use for the purpose of expressing one's high degree of emotional turmoil in a PC acceptable way. Since it seemed to be a dangerous area to venture in, I thought that ED for "expletive deleted" might be vague enough to be safe. Unfortunately that abbreviation has already been usurped by Viagra, Cialis, and other such ads on TV, etc.

What's a body to do?Ignore PC rules that don't make sense. I'm generally try to avoid words considered generally demeaning to large groups of people or that are deliberately hurtful. But I ain't gonna worry about the thin-skinned of the world.
