Here's a couple excerpts clipped from a summary digest I received because of my "subscription to a [sub-] forum".

I wonder if there are server-side configuration options that moderators could set to make the "subscribe to forum" feature more useful/powerful?

e.g. receive a "full digest" instead of just subject line?

e.g. receive digest as HTML?

Perhaps it would be useful for a moderator to list what the available server side configuration options might be for this, if any? And if such exist, to have a discussion of what options for "subscribe to forum" should be default or available for users to choose, if possible.

There aren't any other options that I'm aware of; perhaps others who've used vBulletin forums elsewhere can point me to them if they exist.

If it turns out that there are no such configuration options at all or else with enough enthusiam behind them to pursue, then maybe the question could / should be restated as "how to make best use" of the "subscribe to a forum" feature?

Feel free to start that discussion any time, David. I'm still trying to figure out the bewildering array of options the software has!
