[Dixonary] Bounced Messages Again ^&%$#*

Folks, I am annoyed. Yahoo turned me off again. I don't know what the
limit is, but apparently I have reached it (60 bounces, according to
their log), and from now on *any* bounce will cause me to be turned off.
This is really not acceptable!

The fact is that tapcis.com should not be bouncing messages from
yahoogroups at all. I don't know who's hosting the tapcis.com domain,
but either the hosting company does not allow any adjustment to their
mandatory spam filters, or whoever is in charge of the tapcis.com
account isn't taking advantage of those options. If there's no
whitelist available, tapcis.com should really be hosted elsewhere.

Who's paying for it and how much is he/she paying? There are plenty of
options out there.

Am I properly understanding that messages are not making it from
Coryphaeus to the Parlor? That would seem to me to have nothing to do
with Email and spam.

The tapcis.com Email is provided by Go Daddy or something like that. I
don't know how it is related to the tapcis.com forums, if indeed there
is some connection.

The email address I had been using was from GoDaddy.com also. Hmmmmmmm . . .

(I'm typing with one hand -- elbow surgery yesterday -- so my messages will be VERY short for a while.

Sorry to hear about your surgery. Best wishes for a speedy recovery.

The fact that we are both using Go Daddy makes our having had our Email
deactivated while others did not more understandable. Now what we can do
about it is another matter!

Yes, the GoDaddy.com 'link' is interesting. I think I once asked them whether my not always rec'g email could be their fault, and they said no . . . of course. What I've done is to use my actual Road Runner address instead of my 'alias.' So far so good. Have you had more bouncing email lately?

Judy, I went to the webmail for my tapcis.com account. Then I added the
Coryphaeus group's Email address to the whitelist (this is under "spam
settings" or something like that). I don't know if it will work or not.
The comments on that page indicate that the white and black lists are
used regardless of the spam filter setting (mine was off and I left it
that way for now). I just wonder, though, whether the Spamhaus checking
also disregards the spam filter settings. I guess it must, because for
me, spam filtering was OFF.
