You call that specialization? Above or below the third rib from the top?
HOW small caliber?

That's very interesting. I do know that it can lead to a detached retina -- my father had two of those. My retina specialist is also well respect in this area -- but he has me returning in a month. Two of my friends (who use different doctors) are also in a "hold" mode. I suspect it depends on how severe the situation is.

That's for the retinal tear -- or the vitreous detachment (which is what I have)?

Thanks for your input -- I like having all the info I can get my hands on (which is what is making me crazy right now since I have so many things going on at once!!).
