12 definitions for nuffin-idosl follow. Vote for your 2 favorites no later
than 10AM EDT, Saturday August 18.

1. sarcastic, caustic, or biting.

2. hidden puppet operators in a traditional English puppet show.

3. [Chiefly British] miscellaneous items, remnants.

4. [sl.] a nerd.

5. beach sandals.

6. failure to remove the price sticker from the bottom of a shoe, so it
can be seen by the person walking behind, thus committing a fashion
faux pas.

7. small clay sculptures placed into ceramic firing kilns to attract any
misfortune that might otherwise befall more important pieces. Also
called "kiln gods".

So today I narrowed it down to six...and probably already eliminated the correct definition.

I'll choose these because they seem least likely to be correct:

9. trees, branches, and other pieces of naturally occurring wood fully
or partially submerged in rivers, lakes, and streams.


12. pansies.
