Hi all

We have a healthy 15 definitions for our word PLAGIUM. Please vote for two
of them.

1. In any framed work, a horizontal tie other than sill and plate or
other principal ties, securing uprights to one another.

2. [Lat.] A beach or cove.

3. The interface between a bacterial colony and its protective
biofilm.

4. The plunge pool in a Roman bathing complex.

5. A bath-house or changing facility at a beach.

6. Any of the feldspar minerals varying in composition from acidic
albite, NaAlSi3O8, to basic anorthite, CaAl2Si2O8, found in most igneous
rocks: shows twinning striations on good cleavage surfaces.

7. Mineral with oblique crystalline cleavage [Gk. plagios = inclined]

8. A small-leafed herb having a sweet, grassy taste with a hint of
licorice.

9. [Latin] A subcommittee of the Roman Senate tasked with
implementing and enforcing the regulations of the guild of silversmiths.

10. A fit of boredom.

11. A body of fraudulently published material.

12. A formal expression of praise.

13. A small stage used for a person to address a group outdoors.

14. The crime of kidnapping (spec. of kidnapping children).

15. A copy; an imitation.

This time the problem isn't that none are plausible, but that too many are!
I'll guess that it's not related to plagiarism, which means that it
probably is. Maybe it's one of the beachy defs. I'll take 2 and 4.
