Round 2901 - KNAG - The Definitions

Okay, folks, we have eleven (11) good definitions, only one of which is the
real thing. You get to vote for any TWO by replying directly to this
message.

The deadline for voting will be…8:30 AM EST, Tuesday, June 19.

Good luck!

1. a mental flaw; a touch of craziness; partial insanity.

2. a knot in wood or a protuberance.

3. a type of termite.

4. a small poisonous snake of Malaysia.

5. a polite reminder.

6. to trim wood using a spokeshave.

7. a flourish made after a signature, originally as a precaution against
forgery.

8. an African palm tree.

9. a 19-th century Dutch coin, worth two and a half guilders.

10. a hanging end or shred.

11. a unit of acceleration of one centimeter per second per second.

Dealer Steve

Hi Steve,

Only 11? Hmmmm, that's still a low number..

Anyway, time to cast my votes. I'll have 4 and 7 please:* the poisonous
snake and the flourish.

Cheers,
Hugo

I'm honored to get to participate in a Dixon-dealt round, though I like
voting more in rounds where I was able to submit a definition, because then
I can at least discount the one definition. And maybe get some points.

5 & 8, just 'cause nobody picked them yet, and because I'm pretty sure
there's no KNAG in the metric system.

5. a polite reminder.

Oh, my Dixonarianistas!

* I'm so sorry i missed the details! *I read the 'real winnah' post, and
set e-mail almost completely aside to pursue the "fires"
that must be extinguished in modern life for continued survival with
shelter. |#8

Steve Dixon - if i didn't already owe you a deal, i do now! Anyone -
holler! I'm your huckleberry hound!

I think i begged off a long while back and haven't 'repaid' it yet!

Anywhich, nice list if short. * 2 & 7 have my votes.* And my bow. And my
axe. And my smartphone?
On painkillers for a tooth-revolt! Might be a little punchy\crunch.
