As, I think, recently happened (I don't recall who was involved; I hope
THEY do!), X is supposed to be the next dealer but will be somewhere
without a computer for the next week so the runner-up, Y, steps in and
says, "Okay, I'll deal for you and you owe me one"--so the next time the
deal falls on Y's head, X does it instead. ;-)
