Our second word this round went off without a hitch. Both Efrem and Dave
earned 4 natural points, Efrem for his Indian robe and Dave for his Scots
grandmother. But since Efrem is ahead in rolling scores, he is our once
and future dealer. (Hope you don't pass it right back to me!) My
definition, the Christian wine vessel, comes to us by way of a 1976
Harper's Magazine cryptic crossword, as confirmed by Webster's. It earns a
D1. Whew. I rarely get away so unscathed.
