Here a round dozen of possible defs for TURB. One of them, I hope, is
correct. As always, vote for your two favorites without using a
dictionary. Deadline is Sunday morning 18 Feb 2018 at 9 a.m. EST, or about
4 a.m.in the UK, I believe, and so on.

1. a crowd.
2. a pyrimidine.
3. an expert skier.
4. comparatively plain.
5. [N. Eng. Dial.] to stir.
6. a type of large cistern.
7. a microscopic shrimp of Arctic waters.
8. one who entertains foolish speculations.
9. a mixture of clay and straw used as a building material.
10. imaginary potentate of great power and self-importance.
11. a small amount of turbulence -- such as a swam or a dust-devil.
12. a ceramic resonator, found on the pads of wind instruments, that
reflects sound back into the bore of the instrument.

2. a pyrimidine (since I have no clue what that is!)
and
12. a ceramic resonator, found on the pads of wind instruments, that reflects sound back into the bore of the instrument.

Judy

Today is the first day of the rest of your life.

I'll take the rabble rousing combination of 1 and 5:

I'll try 2, because I have no idea what a pyrimidine is, and 3, because it seems more plausible than most of the others.
