Folks,

Tim Bourne jumped out to an early lead with his drumlin-shaped mound, started to run away with this round when he picked the correct definition for TUMI, and finished in a walk with 9 points. His nearest competitor, Dave Cunningham's Japanese stone stairway, tied with the dictionary at 5. I know the second-place finisher is traditionally the "winner" (or "winnah") because he/she also gets to play the next round, but since the average score in a round is 2+, I think anyone who wins by four or more points should be considered to have won the round regardless of tradition.

Anyhow, a tumi is Definition 6, an early (pre-Columbian, pre-Inca) Peruvian ceremonial knife or axe. There's more about tumis in this Wikipedia page <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tumi> and many other places one can easily find.

A few people mentioned that they knew of the Tumi luggage company. It's named for the knife, which company founder Charlie Clifford learned about while serving in the Peace Corps in South America. It's not the only company with that name: if you happen to be hungry on Cape Cod, you could do worse than the Peruvian food at Tumi Ceviche in Barnstable. I'm sure there are more.. Anyone who cares can ask Google to find them.

The next deal goes, as mentioned, to Tim B. He should be asleep now, since he's on UK time, and I don't know how tight his morning schedule is, but he was alerted to this probable outcome well in advance and will doubtless be ready as soon as he can get a message out tomorrow.
