Folks,

The word for Round 2833 is:

********* AIRT *********

where the capitalization means nothing at all.

Please concoct a plausible definition for AIRT and send it by email to emallach -at- verizon -dot- net. Don't Reply to this message. That will publish your definition to the entire group. If you know what AIRT means, please tell me the same way. If too many people know it, I'll pick another.

The deadline for definitions is a bit less than 47 hours from now: 9 am on Saturday, Sept. 9, in the eastern U.S. I think that is also, on the same date:

8 am U.S. CDT
6 am U.S. PDT
2 pm in the U.K.
3 pm in continental Europe
11 pm in Melbourne

and 1 am on Sunday, Sept. 10, in Wellington

and other times in other places, should anyone happen to be in one. Since we're approaching the time of year when different countries change their clocks on different dates, you might want to confirm the time conversion that applies to you.

For planning purposes, votes will be due about 48 hours later (Monday morning in the eastern U.S.).

New players are welcome. (So are old ones who have been dormant for a while.. You know who you are.) Just send me a definition. Full rules are at http://www.dixonary.net/game-rules-and-advice/rules <http://www.dixonary.net/game-rules-and-advice/rules> .

Define away!

Efrem
