To grant passage. From the phrase SPRUN GALIQUE, meaning "let water in or out inadvertently."

Where's the actual crown? Or is it that little thingy after the
exclamation point and my software just doesn't display it properly?

I was using my phone and that was the best I could do. It's a little crown
icon.

I'm confused. Why would a pun labeled "NAD" get a crown, even if it's a bad one? Isn't that for real fake definitions that were inadvertently sent to the whole group?

Sorry, Efrem. I missed the "NAD." Thank goodness I sent only a small crown!

Now that I've reread your pun -- it's a great one!

Judy,

No apology needed. If that's the worst thing that happens to me today, it will be an excellent day.

(And if I can come up with a decent real definition for SPRUN, it will be a truly fantastic day.)

Well, I should have read your email more carefully. Of course, it's easier to see the entire message at once on a computer than on a phone!
