We have a total of 13 definitions for ICHNITE, one of which comes from an
actual dictionary. Please vote for your two favorites, by public reply to
this message, before deadline, which will be 7:30 PM EST on Monday,
December 5. A little long, but I'm bound by the train schedules.

1. A parasitic fungal infection also known as C. ichnite,
which usu. causes severe but localized rash-like reaction
on the skin. Can develop into ulceration if left untreated.
2. Purple obsidian.
3. (Paleon.) The remains of a fish or other aquatic
creature found in stratified rocks.
4. The smell of sulphur.
5. A build-up that forms down a wall from any sort of long-
term leak.
6. A fossil wasp.
7. A person who has received an unearned reward.
8. An organic chemical associated with some diseases in
freshwater fish.
9. A fossilized footprint.
10. Any of several species of phosphorescent spiders
inhabiting caves in South and Central America.
11. A poisonous alkaloid from hellebore.
12. A bright and beautiful kind of alabaster.
13. A sedimentary rock containing a high proportion of
fossilised fish remains.

inhabiting caves in South and Central America.

3 and 13, on the flawed reasoning that they might have been combined were one of them not correct, maybe, but probably not.
