Here we have 11 carefully-crafted defs of the word JEISTIECOR, only one of
which came from my dictionary. Please vote for your two favourites by
public reply to this message before the deadline of:

21:00 CET on Tuesday 4th October
or 20:00 BST for the dealer
or 19:00 UTC
or 3:00 PM EDT
or 12:00 midday PDT
or 06:00 AEDT on Wednesday in Melbourne
or 08:00 NZDT on Wednesday in Wellington

New players are welcome. Just don't look up the word until after you've

1. a sort of yeast.

2. an overpayment of a debt.

3. the aroma of freshly cut grass.

4. an idea or thought that preoccupies a person's mind.

5. Scotch form of _juste-au-corps_, a close-fitting garment.

6. an iron collar attached to a post and put around the neck as
punishment.

7. a ceremonial collar made of carved onyx and worn by various
tribal kings of Central Africa.

8. a body which is jetsam; thrown overboard rather than washed
overboard or formally buried at sea.

9. a stratum in the human brain composed of fibers from the body
and splenium of the corpus callosum sweeping around the lateral ventricle.

10. (Fine Arts) Finely prepared chalk, used as a drawing
implement; also, by extension, a compound, as of clay and black lead, or
the like, used in the same manner.

11. a close-fitting tunic or doublet; esp. one worn by knights
under the hauberk, sometimes of thick stuff and padded; later, a sleeveless
