Here is a baker's dozen of definitions, some brought to you at great
expense of wit and wisdom by our esteemed panel of experts (as for the
others, well one is from a dictionary) Now your job is to decide which
is the definition that was submitted by a dictionary

Vote for TWO definitions, as a public forum or group message (in reply
to this one), before the deadline..

11:00 pm on Saturday, 24 Sep 2016 in the UK
6:00 pm on East Coast USA
3:00 pm on West Coast USA
8:00 am on 25 Sep in parts of Oz

New Players are welcome, even if you didn't submit a definition you may
vote.

mathematical formulae

architect Paolo Soleri (b. 1919), which envisages fully integrated
cities, each contained within a massive vertical structure, thereby
allowing maximum conservation of the surrounding environment

6. the study of migration, from the pre-historic to the modern age

7. a self-contained artificially created biome

8. the science and study of rainbows

9. an explanation

10. the study of unicellular organisms

11. a compendium of esoteric belief or knowledge

12. the study of human-powered weapons

13. the height contours on a map of the earth's surface

With an amused nod to 3 and 8, and possibly 4, I’ll cast votes for 5 (for creativity/length) and 12 (because it’s just obscure enough to be true)

If you read these aloud, be careful on #2 that you don't spoonerise!

I'll go with 11 with some confidence, and 5 with less of same. I know
those ideas were floated ... just not sure this word was the name
proposed........
Cheers
