Shani,

Interesting that you have 7-Eleven stores in NZ. Before I voted, but after I had decided to vote for definitions with those two numbers, I found the following on their own Web site (at http://corp.7-eleven.com/corp/about, which carries a 2016 copyright date):

> Outside of the U.S. and Canada, there are more than 48,800 7‑Eleven and other convenience stores in Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, South Korea, China, Malaysia, Mexico, Singapore, Australia, the Philippines, Indonesia, Norway, Sweden, Denmark and United Arab Emirates. 7‑Eleven has announced plans to open stores in Vietnam.

New Zealand isn't in their list. Somebody ought to tell them. Or perhaps the NZ stores are a different chain with the same name? Anyhow, I'll have to get back there to check this out.

They can't get their trademark approved in NZ.

No trademark means any convenience store in NZ can "borrow" the name.
