This was an pleasant round for me - being on holiday in Northern France
gave me time to chase down something. I knew that Kipling had written a
Mowgli story that is not in either of the Jungle Books about Mowgli as a
young man. Holiday gave me the time to read a lot of Kipling and find
it. It is called "/I//n the Rukh/" and in fact was published a year
before the first Jungle Book in the collection "/Many Inventions/" ...
so published earlier but set later. - Anyway, RUKH is the word I played
and #14 gave me a D4

Nancy Shepherdson scored a Natural 6 and is our next dealer The real
winners are Chris Carson, Efrem Mallach with 4 unnatural points each

I'm kind of glad I won the deal because I was thinking of Dodi when I wrote
my fake def: an emerald, also a person worthy of admiration.

New word soon. I should have seen this coming, but didn't.

Nancy
