Your next dealer is Shani Naylor who collected six points; four for her witchcraft spell and two more for correctly guessing the 13½ pence.

I drew the definition from Blackguardiana: or, a Dictionary of Rogues, Bawds, Pimps, Whores, Pickpockets, Shoplifters, Mail-robbers, Coiners, House-breakers, Murderers, Pirates, Gipsies, Mountebanks, &c. &c. (Illustrated with eighteen portraits of the most remarkable professors in every species of villainy. Interspersed with many curious Anecdotes, Cant Terms, Flash Songs, &c., The whole intended to put society on their guard against depredators..) although I believe that contains the same listing as Grose's 1811 Dictionary of the Vulgar Tongue.

The 1903 Notes and Queries discusses an alternate spelling, "Loon-slatt", noting that it was formerly hangman's wages, and became a jocular byname for the official himself. The Scottish merk coin was worth 13½ shillings (2⁄3 of a pound). It's unclear whether the etymology proceeded from the hangman reference or because the coin could be mistaken for a half-crown (a slatt), making it a "fool's half crown".

Nancy Shepherdson takes coveted second place with 4 points. And there were 3 players in runner-up position with 3 points: Keith Hale, Tim Lodge and Mike Shefler, the latter two joining Shani in correctly guessing the Canting term.
