Keith Hale and Tim Lodge are tied for second place with 4 natural points each, and
thus share the real winner status. The winner and next dealer is Mike Shefler with
6 natural for his long-winded stringed instrument definition. John Barrs was the
only player who voted for the real definition, the snowy owl. As a conscious
decision, I passed up the opportunity for a forced D0 by refraining from closing
the voting early after Shani Naylor cast her votes. Sure enough, here came Johnny
Barrs.

Take it away, Mike!

12. A traditional stringed instrument used originally to play the music of
Norway. In modern designs, this type of fiddle is very similar to the
violin, though with eight or nine strings (rather than four as on a
standard violin) and thinner wood. Four of the strings are strung and
played like a violin, while the rest, aptly named understrings or
sympathetic strings, resonate under the influence of the other four.

Chris Carson
SOURCE: Mike Shefler, who voted 1 and 6, and scores 6 + 0 = 6

No definition submitted
John Barrs, who voted 4 and *7*, and scores 0 + 2 = 2*
