View Full Version : [Dixonary] Round 271 YIDAKI Results

There was a definite Japanese flavour to these defs! However, in keeping
with the origin of the word, we have an Antipodean one-two, with Shani
Naylor taking the next deal with 5 votes for her sacred exclusion zone, and
Jim Hart being the real winner with 4 votes for his small-scale spirits.
To my surprise, nobody guessed that the real meaning of YIDAKI is a
didgeridoo. John Barrs happened to have looked up didgeridoo for his
granddaughter on the day I posted the word, and so was DQ.

Over to you, Shani!

Nice D0 Tim.

And there I was smugly thinking well *of course* it's not a didgeridoo. As it it transpired I'm happy to have missed it and unreservedly congratulate Shani on her achievement.

Agreed- nice D0!
I was fooled by the "chiefly Australian" bit in the def - where else would
you have a didgeridoo?
New word coming up later today.
