It's voting time again. Here are 18 candidates for the olid nomination.
We don't have time for a televised debate so you'll just have to choose
two based on their policy statements below.

Cast your vote in a public reply to this message before 10pm Thursday
Australian eastern daylight savings time, aka 1100 UTC, and 0600 in the
eastern Americas, or thereabouts.


1. (also _oleid_) of or related to any of a group of oils or fats
found in olives.

2. first impact of a strong smell [Lat. _olere_ to smell; see also
_redolent_ ]

3. A tobacco drying shed, principally in the U.S. state of North
Carolina.

4. a solid which remains in that state when immersed in a liquid

5. tallow made from mutton suet; a candle made of same.

6. a statue depicting a seated person.

7. lacking wit; dull; stupid; insipid

8. Exhibiting or experiencing fear.

9. Lacking in vitality and vigour.

10. having a characteristic scent.

11. [origami] a less-sharp fold

12. of low nutritional value.

13. Merry, frolic, gay
