Found somewhere in the dictionary between BARGUEST and BARMECIDE is:

*** BARLA-FUMBLE ***

Please send me your fabulous, fanciful, fake, fictitious, fairy-tale,
fabricated, false, fantastical, forged, fabled, far fetched, fraudulent,
flim flam, feigned, fanatical, and figmental definitions for
BARLA-FUMBLE by email to widdis (AT) dixonary (DOT) net

Including BARLA-FUMBLE and/or 2671 in your subject line will reduce the
chances that I'll miss your submission.

If you have already submitted a definition for DIXIT, I'll use it unless
you send me a new one.

The deadline will be in about 32 hours, at midnight PST between Tuesday
December 29 and Wednesday December 30, 2015, which is Wednesday 3am EST
on the Right Coast, and on Wednesday the 28th at 8am GMT/UTC in the UK,
9am CET in the Netherlands, 7pm AEDT in Melbourne and 9pm NZDT in
Wellington. Should I have missed your time zone, a webpage which will
convert the deadline to your own timezone and offer links to add
calendar events and other tools, can be found here
<http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/fixedtime.html?msg=DIXIT+Definition+Deadline&iso=20151230T08&p1=1440>.

Hi Daniel,

>>If you have already submitted a definition for DIXIT, I'll use it
unless you send me a new one.<<

Ah, so now I *have* to come up with a clever new definition to avoid
standing out like a sore thumb with my fake dixit def...

Oh well. Here goes.

1: [noun] An action that appears to be a mistake but in the end
(usually as a result of other unexpected events) turns out to have been
beneficial; 2: [verb] To perform such an action.

Cheers,
Hugo

***AARGHH***

I am getting too old for this...

So now I have to come up with yet another def. Not sure if I can find
the inspiration.

Daniel, in any case please scratch my dixit def, I do not want it for
barla-fumble. If I don't find inspiration for a new def, I'll just pass
a round. Again.

Cheers,
Hugo
