The word for the upcoming round is:

               LAMBA

If you know what it means, please let me know by private e-mail, right away; if too many know it, I'll choose a new word.

Otherwise, please create a likely definition and send it to me by the deadline below. Do that by private e-mail, too, NOT by direct reply to this announcement. The latter would reveal your def to all the other players and make you look like an idiot and Judy would have to dig out a silly crown for you to wear (that's the Dixonary equivalent of a dunce cap).

The deadline for submissions is:

Monday, 14 December, 9 a.m. my time (EST)
which is:
8 a.m. CST
6 a.m. PST
2 p.m. GMT
3 p.m. CET
and Tuesday, 15 December:
1 a.m. AEDT
3 a.m. NZDT

I think I've got those right (let me know if not).

Dodi, for the second time recently on the groups website, Google has kindly
offered to translate your message for me in case I don't read Catalan. And
the translation is:

A Smiler.

Not sure how it identified yours as Catalan but now with that upper-case S
my understanding is complete.
