I'm amused (and appalled) at women and children being legally treated
the same as livestock, so 9 gets my vote. And with a private land
definition, why not add on the common land counterpart,, number 7 (at
least they only turn out pigs, and not woman and children to forage.)

Hi Mike,

Are you sure you didn't forget to include the correct definition?

My votes are for the excellent hinge, 8 and 18.

None of them seem really credible (including mine). The idea of 7 appeals to me, and 2 sort of sounds right.
