-for someone who knows Yahoogroups

I posted my new word from my usual email software to corypheus on Yahoo many minutes ago...It has not come back to me yet (I am used
to it being only a few seconds before that happens) I decided to go in an look - and it wasn't there.

BUT and this is the odd thing.. I am logged in over there and yet yahoogroups shows me as offline - any thoughts about that? - in
particular, my 'new word' message arrived while I am writing this and yet I am still flagged as offline even though the top of the
screen shows 'Welcome <me>'

??????

I just went to Yahoo and I, too, am listed as offline. I checked another of my Yahoo groups -- and I'm "offline" there also. I've never checked this before, so I can't say that this is different.

Typically, if you're on the Yahoo groups site, how are you listed?

That has to do with whether you are logged in to Yahoo!'s instant messaging
interface, which is tottally separate from logging into the website or
email.

You should (usually) be able to see me there as "logged in" (and instant
message me at dbwiddis) even while I'm nowhere near the site.
