The word for this round is

PUTTOCK

for which you are invited to email your definitions to me at my gmail
address before the deadline which shall be 43 hours hence at:
on Sunday at 0700 for me, 0900 in NZ, and
on Saturday at 2100 UTC, 2200 in the UK, or 1700 in eastern US,
other times in other places.

As usual smartypants players should confess early if they already know the
word in case I need to find another.

Jim

So far I have definitions from Mallach, Naylor, Hale, Keating, Lodge,
Stevens, Madnick, Graham, Weltz and a legitimate dictionary. And not one
DQ. So the rest of you still have some 30-odd hours to get your puttock
brains into gear.

Your dealer has now received a mere 14 phoney definitions for this round.
Not so long ago we could regularly count on close to 20 so I'm hoping some
of the laggards will stir themselves in the time remaining . And since I
won't be getting up early tomorrow you will have a bit longer than
originally planned - the deadline is hereby extended by two hours to 9am
Sunday for me, aka 7pm for eastern Americans and 12 midnight in the UK. So
get to it.
