Dear Dixonarists,

Thanks, Keith, I think - and I hope you feel better soon! I saw this coming, so I was ready. Unfortunately, it falls into a tightly scheduled weekend. Some things can't be helped.

The word for Round 2603 is

*************************************
CROZE
*************************************

barring, as usual, an excess of disqualifications. Capitalization of the word in this message does not indicate anything about its usual capitalization, if any.

Please invent a definition and send it by private e-mail to emallach - at - verizon - dot - net. Don't Reply to this message, as that will send your definition to the whole group.

If you know what CROZE means, please tell me by private e-mail to the same address. If enough people know it, I'll pick another word. If you e-mail me to this effect and I don't replace this word, you can still submit an invented definition and receive points when players vote for it. You just can't vote if you know the true definition of CROZE, or recognize its meaning in the list of definitions that will be posted later.

Definitions are due at 9 o'clock this coming Sunday morning (April 26) in the eastern U.S and Canada*. That is also:

8 am, same date, U.S./Canada Central Daylight Time
6 am, same date, U.S./Canada Pacific Daylight Time
1 pm, same date, British Summer Time
2 pm, same date, Continental Europe Summer Time
11 pm, same date, Australian Eastern Standard Time
1 am, Mon., April 27, New Zealand Standard Time

and other times in other places, should anyone happen to be somewhere else. Please confirm your local time to be certain. I'll compile and send the list of definitions as soon as possible after 9 am on my EDT clocks.

The voting deadline, if you want to plan ahead, will be about 36 hours after that: Monday evening in North America.

New players are welcome! Full rules, should they or anyone else want them, can be found at http://www.dixonary.net/game-rules-and-advice/rules .
