View Full Version : [Dixonary] OT: Google groups question

I usually read Dixonary via the Google Groups website and often send my def
using the 'Reply to author' option rather than write a separate email.
Downside is it's not in my sent mail and nor is it in public view
(obviously) so I don't have a record of what or when I wrote. Or do I? Mr
Google knows what I wrote, so is there a simple way for me to see my
private replies?

Jim

Could you cc yourself using the "reply to author" feature? Or would
Google ignore that, too?

Good idea, but it looks like you only get the CC field when replying to
a post in the group, not replying to author.

It figures. Google, once again, knows what's best for us.

Daniel, Guerri:
Clearly there's no obvious way, so the answer is simply to use email (like
most folks here do) if I want a record of my message.
Thanks for your advice and suggestions.
Jim
