I really thought this one had a chance until Johnny voted. Dick Weltz is
the next dealer with 7 natural points, and Johnny is the winner with 6
unnatural points, as Chambers is upset. And hardly any vowels at all.

1. a fit of blind rage [Keating] *2 4 (Lodge) 2 + 1 = 3

2. a small blister or vesicle [Chambers] (Barrs)(Mallach) (Keating)
(Carson) (Schultz) (Madnick) D6

3. A petticoat, esp. an under petticoat. [Obs.] [Widdis] 6 19 nil

4. a lesion on the stem of a woody plant [Weltz] 14 15 (Barrs)
(Bourne) (Mallach) (Keating) (Carson) (Hart) (Madnick) 7!!

5. choking smoke or dust; fuss; commotion [Madnick] *2 4 (Morgan) 2 + 1
= 3

6. The nagging feeling that one has forgotten something. [Abell] NV
(Stevens) (Widdis) 2

7. collectively the androecium and gynoecium of most flowering plants
[Hart] 4 19 (Hale)(Naylor) 2

8. A column of extruded stone, as at the Giant's Causeway. [Hale] 7 18
0

9. [zool] An inflamation of the anal glands in canines. [Graham] NV 0

10. a semi-porous membrane found in a snake's bladder. [Boswell] 11 19
(Shefler) 1

11. a radioactive element created by nuclear fusion [Stevens] 6 15
(Boswell)

12. flexible armor made of metal links; chain mail [Schultz] *2 18 2 +n
0 = 2

13. Either of two hollies of the southeast United States, dahoon or
youpon. [Carson] *2 4 (Morgan) 2 + 1 = 3

14. An order of carnivorous insects, encompassing dragonflies and
damselflies [Naylor] 7 17 (Bourne) (Weltz) 2

15. [Zool.] Any sensory organ that detects changes in air pressure,
including but not limited to sound waves. [Mallach] *2 4

(Stevens) (Weltz) 2 + 2 = 4

16. that group of physiological characteristics that distinguish one
species from another. [Shefler] 10 17 0

17. A genus of lianas of lowland equatorial evergreen rain forests,
belonging to the family _Dilleniaceae_ and commonly known as water vines
[Lodge] 1 19 (Shefler) (Naylor) 2

18. an aspirator bottle for collecting small insects, having one tube
through which they are drawn into the bottle and another, protected by
muslin or gauze, for suction. [Morgan] 5 13 (Hale) (Schultz) 2

19. Originally used in early translations of the bible into English to
describe the _aprons of fig leaves_ used by Adam and Eve to hide their
nakedness in Genesis 3. In the Restoration period 1680-1700 the word became
a fan made of leaf-shaped seqments used by flirtatious ladies to coyly hide
their faces while carrying the definite connotations of the availability of
much more to be uncovered _see my face, see my fan_ became a catchword
phrase of the period. [Barrs] *2 4 (Lodge) (Widdis) (Hart) (Boswell) 2
+4 = 6

Bourne 4 14

Shouldn't Tim B get /something/, since his def was rejected by Bellsouth
for no fault of his own?

What are the rules on that?

I don't think so. Since I've had it happen before, I should have avoided the problem by sending from
a different address (which I've done this time).

Best wishes,
Tim Bourne.

Nope. The problem only (for now) affects people with @aol.com and
@yahoo.com email addresses... actually it doesn't affect them so much as
everyone else /receiving/ their messages.

I (and most others, I bet) got your vote message.

His votes show up now -- I think I told people how much I love the new
Windows8 format?

Lodge has 3 and Barrs has 7 -- but no change in dealer. Anyone have a
Gates Voodoo doll handy? (Unless Google is complicit in this as well)
