[Dixonary] Round 2490: CHACHALACA - Call for "definitions"

The word for the upcoming round, per the subject line, is CHACHALACA.

If you know what it means, please e-mail me right away. (If too many of you
are familiar with it, I'll choose a different word.)

Otherwise: Create what you think your fellow players will find a credible
definition and send it to me in a new e-mail. (Do NOT direct-reply to this
announcement, since that would send it to the whole bunch, and then you'd
just have to think up a different def). Do that before the deadline, which
is going to be near the short end of the permitted time span:

Wednesday, 12 March, 11:59 p.m. EDT
which will be:
anywhere from 8:59 to 10:59 p.m. west of here;
Thursday, 13 March, 3:59 a.m. in the UK and 4:59 p.m. in the Netherlands;
and 2:59 Thursday afternoon in Melbourne

The deadline in the Netherlands isn't Thursday at 4:59 p.m.
It's Thursday at 4:59 _a.m._
