View Full Version : [Dixonary] Round 2489 SEREIN Results

Tim Lodge
March 11th, 2014, 04:49 PM
Dodi Schultz is our new dealer, with 5 natural points for her "hysterical
paralysis". Paul Keating and Mike Shefler can relax in coveted second
place with 4 points apiece. Three of you guessed that SEREIN is a light
rain falling from a cloudless sky.

I hope that sing a fixed font will make the results easier to read.

Over to you, Dodi!

A couple of small items:

(1) In fact, my score of 5 isn't natural; Dave, Millie, and Glen voted for
my def, while I voted for the right one. It's correct in the body of the list.
(2) You say that Tony, Glen, and Dave were "non-voting", then you list
their votes. (They did vote.) Did you mean "no def"?
(3) If Dick voted for Chris's and Nancy's defs, how come their scores are 0
and Dick's votes are 0 and 0?
(4) Did Keith vote for Steve G's def twice?

New word coming up shortly. (I am, of course, in the midst of mining data
in preparation for next month's filing of income tax returns.)

Thanks to all of you who pointed out my errors and apologies to those who
were affected. I'd spent the day in bed with a heavy cold and rose to do
the results - my brain was clearly still addled. I've gone through them
again, and I think these ones are correct. Dodi is still the new dealer,
but 2 of her 5 points were gained by guessing the real def.
