Well of course it's the act of franing again.

Which reminds me: there is a device in my kitchen that purportedly
frigerates things again. It even frigerates things that were never
frigerated in the first place which may be why some people just call it a
frig. Note however that this variation is generally pronounced and spelt
fridge to avoid getting confused with small warships.

I thought "frigate" was a minced oath, somewhat akin to a minced onion?

It even frigerates things that were never frigerated in the first place which may be why some people just call it a frig. Note however that this variation is generally pronounced and spelt fridge to avoid getting confused with small warships.
